Meem Foundation supports Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, an organization providing medical and humanitarian relief to children throughout the region.
This support helped build a neonatal intensive care unit in the state-run Khalil Suleiman Hospital in Jenin, West Bank.
The support is vital in an area where mothers and newborns lack adequate access to healthcare. This unit will enable the hospital to provide better care for more children.
Since 2015, we have partnered with the London Business School (LBS) to offer the Muna Al Gurg Scholarship to women in the Middle East seeking higher education.
The scholarship aims to increase the number of women in senior leadership positions within companies in the region besides advocating a greater role for women in business. To date, six women have completed their MBA or Executive MBA at LBS.
Since 2021, Meem Foundation has worked to enhance the capacity and reach of women empowerment organisations across Lebanon.
We’ve supported 10 coalitions of 20 organisations impacting more than 1300 women in the domains of small business development, technical and life skills training, and legal rights awareness.
Most of the projects are operating across rural Lebanon with 40% of beneficiaries consisting of those from refugee communities.
Meem Foundation funds a wide variety of organizations breaking down barriers to education, employment and healthcare for women and girls across the region. These organizations are dedicated to changing the status quo.
